Reading about the storm  and the size of the waves they faced gives me the chills. 25-50 foot waves. Dear God. And if I recall correctly, another ship in the area reported three massive rogue waves. I just can’t......

I love Edmund Fitzgerald's voice

It’s funny; I grew up hearing Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Chapin and John Denver, and then I left for college and didn’t listen to them for 20 years or better. Thought I’ d never want to hear them again. But now, they’re creeping back into my record collection... there’s something very calming about those ‘70s singer-songwriters, a genuineness and earnestness that’s hard to find today. And some serious musicianship too; all those guys really knew their way around an acoustic guitar.

Not sure how, but when I saw that photo on the Oppo page I somehow knew it was an Edmund Fitzgerald story. Weird.

Meanwhile, I listened to the whole Summertime Dream album this evening.
